We provide fees estimates and budgets for each and every instruction. Whilst we charge competitive market rates to commensurate with the service provided, we are always willing to discuss the way our fees are structured in order to find a solution that works for our clients. Our fees are guided by the Ghana Bar Scale of Fees which may be found online at: ……

The fees for a particular case or a specific piece of work will normally be agreed in advance taking into account the market rate, the individual lawyer’s skill and experience and the particular circumstances of the case or work, including its complexity.

The fee structure will depend on the case. We charge: a fixed fee; a brief fee (preparation for a trial and the first day); refresher fee (for each subsequent day of the trial including ongoing preparation); capped fees; hourly fees; fixed fees or Conditional Fee Agreement (‘no win, no fee’), or different contractual terms may be considered depending on the case.

Please advise if your case is exempt from VAT and on which basis, as VAT will be charged on all of fees unless you notify us otherwise. For more information, please contact us on our details above.

We at GROVE LEGAL Chambers are committed to providing our clients with advice, advocacy and associated legal services that meets, or exceeds, their expectations, thereby establishing ourselves as a professional and highly regarded supplier in our fields of expertise.

This is achieved through ensuring that each client’s instructions are explicitly understood and the basis on which fees will be charged are agreed in accordance with the Ghana Bar Scale of Fees available at: ……….

Timescales for a case may vary depending on factors such as the lawyer’s availability, the type and complexity of the case, the other side’s approach and court waiting times.
