FEES

We provide fee estimates and budgets for each and every instruction. While we charge competitive market rates to commensurate with the service provided, we are always willing to discuss the way our fees are structured in order to find a solution that works for our clients. Our fees are guided by the Ghana Bar Scale of Fees found online at: https://3news.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/2022-GHANA-BAR-ASSOCIATION-SCALE-OF-FEES-YOG-Final-April.pdf (Accessed on 10 February 2023)

We usually agree the fee and payment structure for a case or a piece of legal work in advance. Our fee structure consists of: a fixed fee; a brief fee (preparation for a trial and the first day); refresher fee (for each subsequent day of the trial including ongoing preparation); capped fees; hourly fees; and or Conditional Fee Agreement (‘no win, no fee’). Also, depending on the case in question, different contractual terms may be considered.

Please advise if your case is exempt from VAT and on what basis, as VAT will be charged on all fees unless you notify us otherwise. For more information, please contact us on our details above.

We at GROVE LEGAL CHAMBERS are committed to providing our clients with advice, advocacy, representation and associated legal services that meet, or exceed expectations.

We ensure that each client’s instructions are clearly understood and the basis on which fees will be charged are agreed in accordance with the Ghana Bar Scale of Fees available at: https://3news.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/2022-GHANA-BAR-ASSOCIATION-SCALE-OF-FEES-YOG-Final-April.pdf (Accessed on 10 February 2023)
