We are expert in initiating and defending cases in all divisions and at all levels of the Ghanaian Courts. In addition, we are regularly instructed to litigate or defend claims in the civil courts in Ghana, and to defend accused persons in the criminal matters. We are also experienced in advising on alternative dispute resolution techniques.

We are committed to offering a costeffective service and supportive approach to legal advice.

We have strong reputation for resolving disputes and we provide personalised service to clients.

We are very approachable and we provide the highest quality of advice and advocacy.

We understand the impact of legal proceedings and we support our clients from the outset with advice and guidance and all through to the end.

We are supported by experienced, flexible and proactive clerks who are able to assist with any aspect of clerking anytime any day.

You can happily rely on us for strategic advice and representation in our specialized areas of legal practice.

We provide fee estimates and budgets for each and every instruction. While we charge competitive market rates to commensurate with the service provided, we are always willing to discuss the way our fees are structured in order to find a solution that works for our clients. Our fees are guided by the Ghana Bar Scale of Fees found online at: https://3news.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/2022-GHANA-BAR-ASSOCIATION-SCALE-OF-FEES-YOG-Final-April.pdf (Accessed on 10 February 2023)

We usually agree the fee and payment structure for a case or a piece of legal work in advance. Our fee structure consists of: a fixed fee; a brief fee (preparation for a trial and the first day); refresher fee (for each subsequent day of the trial including ongoing preparation); capped fees; hourly fees; and or Conditional Fee Agreement (‘no win, no fee’). Also, depending on the case in question, different contractual terms may be considered.

Please advise if your case is exempt from VAT and on what basis, as VAT will be charged on all fees unless you notify us otherwise. For more information, please contact us on our details above.

We at GROVE LEGAL CHAMBERS are committed to providing our clients with advice, advocacy, representation and associated legal services that meet, or exceed expectations.

We ensure that each client’s instructions are clearly understood and the basis on which fees will be charged are agreed in accordance with the Ghana Bar Scale of Fees available at: https://3news.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/2022-GHANA-BAR-ASSOCIATION-SCALE-OF-FEES-YOG-Final-April.pdf (Accessed on 10 February 2023)

The timescale for a case varies depending on many factors such as the lawyer’s availability, the type and complexity of the case, the other side’s approach and Court waiting times. We at GROVE LEGAL CHAMBERS however endeavour to resolve matters or complete cases in the shortest possible time.

In the event that you are dissatisfied with any service received from us or from a member of our staff, we shall provide a remedy. Kindly contact us on our contact details above to discuss it.

We are committed to soliciting feedback to ensure continuing and complete satisfaction with services provided.
